Digital Printing Solutions

Advances in Digital Printing Technology has created many printing solutions that substantially reduce production cost and also resulted in profitable low-volume production.

Digital Textile Printers are based on inkjet technology. Suitable fabric handling mechanisms are attached to inkjet printers. Different types of colorants are used for different type of fabrics.

Direct to Garment (DTG) is also digital textile printing where small designs are printed on garments such as T-shirts and promotional wear.

In Digital Textile Printing there is no need to prepare “screen”, hence it is even economical to print small volume of fabric. Digital Textile Printers can print on cotton, silk and polyester fabric. Low energy sublimation inks and high energy disperse inks are directly printed on fabric. In sublimation printing, first printing is done on a transfer paper and then it is transferred to fabric using heat press.

Along with Digital Textile Printers, RIP software is used. This software enhances digital textile printers capabilities and makes processing of large image file faster and consistent.

Application of Digital Textile Printer : Apparel, garment, home textile, sports wear and furnishing.
